I was very pleased that two of my paintings were selected for the Paint America Paint the Parks Top 100 and the Mini Top 50 National Traveling Exhibits celebrating the National Parks of America. These were in addition to the two paintings selected earlier this year to be included in the Paint America Top100 and the Mini Top 50 National Traveling Exhibits throughout 2010. With the selection of these paintings into the Exhibit I have gained Signature Membership in the Paint America Association Signature Society.

These are my newest paintings in my Fish and Crab Series. As you can see I am drawn to very unusual subjects with strong contrast in lighting and interesting shapes and textures. I find these subjects exciting, challenging and inspiring and I enjoy trying to capture each element of them.
